Springbrook National Park – the lure of Nature or Reality TV?

Springbrook National Park

Read about my story on Springbrook National Park at my Travel Blog: http://travelbugwithin.com.au/2014/06/springbrook-national-park-the-lure-of-nature-or-reality-tv/

Why wasn’t I one of the estimated two million visitors** (annually) to this special part of our world. The reality is, living in Brisbane we are spoilt for choice for week-end jaunts, with access to many amazing places most within close proximity. We often succumb to being lured interstate or overseas – rather than choosing the adventurous and beautiful places right on our doorstep.

All this was set to change, on one brilliant autumn week-end day in May. With the South East Queensland weather turning ever so slightly cooler and the iridescent, cloudless blue sky beckoning, the time was right to venture to the world’s largest remaining area of undisturbed subtropical rainforest.**

  1. I do not even know how I ended up here, but I thought this post was great.
I don’t know who you are but definitely you’re going to a famous
blogger if you are not already 😉 Cheers!

  2. Hi there! I know this is kind of off-topic but I needed to ask.
Does operating a well-established blog like yours take a massive
amount work? I am brand new to operating a blog but I do write in my diary every day.
I’d like to start a blog so I can share my personal experience and feelings online. Please let me know if you have any ideas or tips for brand new aspiring blog owners. Thankyou!

    • HI Joni, mine is not that well established – more intermittent – but thanks if it appears that way!! Sure if you write in a diary – a blog is the same just on-line. Its the time it takes to write and publish – not really much once you are set up. Good luck – i say go for it.

  3. Unquestionably believe that which you said. Your favorite justification appeared to be on
the internet the easiest thing to be aware of.
I say to you, I definitely get annoyed while people consider worries that they plainly don’t know about. You managed to hit the nail upon the top and defined out the whole thing without having side-effects , people can take a signal. Will probably be back to get more. Thanks
